If you live in the Chicago area, Sarah Jindra has probably helped you get to work at some point.  She has been reporting traffic for Chicago area commuters since 2008.

She currently reports traffic and news for WGN-TV from inside the studio, on the streets and in the WGN-TV helicopter, Skycam 9.  Sarah also fills in at the anchor desk for WGN Morning News. Watch for her on air (and in the air!) each weekday starting at 4 a.m.

Prior to her move to WGN-TV, Sarah reported traffic for Chicago Public Radio (WBEZ) and NBC 5 Chicago. She also served as a general assignment reporter for WCIA-TV in Champaign.

The Chicago-area native from Westmont received a B.S. from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. from Syracuse University, both in broadcast journalism.
